Developed through intensive transnational cooperation between RTIS Network (Greece), Formedil Bari (Italy) and Brigada do Mar (Portugal), the Guide and Manual translate cutting\u2011edge research on plastic pollution, microplastics, the circular economy and the 4 R\u2019s framework (Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) into practical, classroom\u2011ready content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Resource for Every VET Learner and Educator<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u039f \u03c3\u03c5\u03bd\u03b1\u03c3\u03c0\u03b9\u03c3\u03bc\u03cc\u03c2 #AllUnitedforMG&nbsp;<strong>Educational Guide for Students<\/strong>&nbsp;is a learner\u2011friendly, 85\u2011page handbook that introduces VET trainees to the science of plastic pollution, the impact of microplastics on marine ecosystems, and simple yet powerful daily actions to reduce plastic waste. Through real\u2011life case studies, self\u2011assessment quizzes and hands\u2011on activities \u2013 including conducting waste audits and using the ZP4All mobile app \u2013 the Guide empowers students to become multipliers for environmental change in their schools, homes and future workplaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u039f \u03c3\u03c5\u03bd\u03b1\u03c3\u03c0\u03b9\u03c3\u03bc\u03cc\u03c2 #AllUnitedforMG&nbsp;<strong>Educational Manual for Teachers and Trainers<\/strong>&nbsp;is a comprehensive 120\u2011page pedagogical toolkit. It provides a structured 12\u2011week programme, 17 ready\u2011to\u2011use case studies (e.g. \u201cPlastic\u2011Free School Challenge\u201d, \u201cEco\u2011Design Challenge\u201d, \u201cBuilding Eco\u2011Bricks\u201d), detailed lesson plans, alternative assessment rubrics, and guidance on adapting content to diverse learner needs \u2013 including struggling learners and those with learning difficulties. The Manual is designed to be flexible, allowing teachers to follow the full curriculum or select individual modules based on their specific timetable and student profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both resources are available\u00a0<strong>free of charge<\/strong>\u00a0as Open Educational Resources (OER) in English, Greek and Italian. They can be downloaded from the ZP4All website (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zp4all.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.zp4all.com<\/a>) and the project\u2019s e\u2011learning platform (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.zp4all.online\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.zp4all.online<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Pan\u2011European Effort to Upskill VET<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe launch of the Educational Guide and Manual is the culmination of months of collaborative work by our transnational team,\u201d said [Name], Project Coordinator at RTIS Network. \u201cWe have listened to VET educators and students across three countries and transformed their needs into a practical, science\u2011based toolkit. These resources do not merely inform \u2013 they inspire action. We are confident that they will become a lasting asset for any VET institution committed to sustainability.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Silvano Penna, Director of Formedil Bari, added: \u201cThe Manual has already been tested in our local workshops, and the feedback from teachers is overwhelmingly positive. It saves preparation time, adapts easily to different vocational subjects, and \u2013 most importantly \u2013 engages students in a way that traditional environmental education often fails to do.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Next Steps: Local Events and Digital Tools<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The release of the Guide and Manual is accompanied by a series of local VET events in Greece and Italy, where trained mentors will deliver six\u2011session workshops based on the new resources.
