It moves beyond conventional testing by offering\u00a0<strong>group\u2011based assessments<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>peer collaboration exercises<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>reflective activities<\/strong>\u00a0that evaluate student engagement, critical thinking and real\u2011world problem\u2011solving rather than rote memorisation. These alternative methods help educators capture the full depth of student learning and foster a culture of shared environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Manual is designed to be flexible: teachers can follow the entire 12\u2011week programme or select individual modules based on their timetable, student profile and local context. All materials are available as Open Educational Resources (OER) in English, Greek and Italian.<a href=\"https:\/\/toolbox.salto-youth.net\/5706\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Highlights of the Resources<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Both tools are designed with a focus on accessibility and practical use:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Free to Access:<\/strong>\u00a0All resources are available as Open Educational Resources (OER) and can be downloaded free of charge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Flexible and Adaptable:<\/strong>\u00a0The materials are designed to be tailored to different age groups, curricula, and classroom settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Real-World Impact:<\/strong>\u00a0The tools include practical activities, case studies, and assessment strategies to bring environmental education to life.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>European Reach:<\/strong>\u00a0The resources are the result of a transnational partnership between Greece (RTIS Network), Italy (Formedil Bari), and Portugal (Brigada do Mar), supported by the Erasmus+ programme.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.salto-youth.net\/tools\/toolbox\/tool\/zp4all-educational-guide.5705\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why These Resources Matter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Plastic pollution is one of the most urgent environmental crises of our time. VET students \u2013 the future welders, builders, hospitality staff and technicians \u2013 must leave their training with environmental literacy and green skills. The ZP4All resources directly address this need, and have already been tested with&nbsp;<strong>285 students and 22 mentors<\/strong>&nbsp;across Greece and Italy, achieving a&nbsp;<strong>97% increase in environmental knowledge<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>94% satisfaction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The &#8220;ZeroPlastic 4 All&#8221; (ZP4All) project, Grant Agreement No. Erasmus+_2023-2-EL01-KA210-VET-000170094, is funded by the European Union. Its goal is to combat plastic pollution by equipping vocational education and training (VET) students and educators with the knowledge and skills needed to adopt zero-plastic lifestyles and promote a circular economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Join the Movement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite all educators, trainers, and youth workers to visit the SALTO-Youth Toolbox, explore the ZP4All resources, and integrate them into their work.
