The Mediterranean is Burning!!!!

Four years after the devastating and deadly fire in Mati Attica, we are experiencing the absolute destruction of the historical forest of Dadia, a unique ecological value point of our country.

At the same time, like every summer, we have devastating fires all over the Mediterranean, in Portugal over 3,500 firefighters are fighting dozens of fires. Most of Spain was put on red alert. More than 70,300 hectares burned in the country. In France, around 1,000 firefighters are trying to control two large forest fires. More than 3,000 people have evacuated their homes in Turkey due to the fire in the southwestern Datca peninsula.

Furthermore, many other disasters across the Mediterranean, while London has recorded the highest recorded temperature in UK history at an unprecedented 41 degrees.

Climate change and all the uncontrolled disasters that mankind has created in the environment, have all these extreme weather phenomena…

We are on the brink of total destruction, now more than ever we must realize that we have reached ground zero. Resilience is more than a need; it is the present and the future together…
