Final Meeting of ZeroPlastic4All Concludes Successfully in Greece

The third and final international meeting of the European project ZeroPlastic4All took place from March 22 to 24, 2026, in the vibrant coastal town of Alimos, Greece. Held under the Erasmus+ KA210 Vocational Education and Training (VET) programme, this pivotal event marked the culmination of a dedicated effort to combat plastic pollution through innovative education and sustainable practices.

A Gathering of Visionaries for a Greener Future
Hosted by the RTIS Network, the meeting brought together key educators, professionals, and stakeholders committed to environmental responsibility. Among the distinguished attendees were Mr. Silvano Penna, Director of Formedil Bari and a principal partner of the RTIS Network, and Mrs. Maria Markantonaki, Municipal Councilor of Alimos. The presence of the core teams from all partner organizations within the ZP4ALL consortium underscored the project’s collaborative spirit and shared commitment to impactful change.

Review, Verify, and Strategize
This significant assembly served as a platform for comprehensive review and evaluation. The participants meticulously examined the project’s outcomes, verified the completion of all deliverables across Activities 1 to 8, and discussed the impact and sustainability of the innovative educational tools developed. These include the detailed educational guide, the students’ manual, the dynamic educational platform, and a dedicated mobile application — resources designed to extend the project’s influence beyond its initial funding period.
The meeting also focused on strategizing future initiatives, strengthening strategic partnerships, and preparing the final report for submission to the European Union’s funding body. The collaborative efforts demonstrated a unified dedication to fostering environmental awareness and technological innovation to address plastic pollution across Europe.

A Legacy of Educational Innovation and Sustainability
The ZeroPlastic4All initiative exemplifies a successful partnership committed to nurturing environmental responsibility through education and digital innovation. The project’s tools are designed to be adaptable and will be shared with relevant organizations to promote wider adoption and collaboration. The platform @online.zp4all.com and app will continue to serve as vital resources for educational institutions and environmental campaigns beyond the project’s lifespan.

Looking Ahead
The final report will encapsulate the project’s achievements, lessons learned, and future directions aimed at maximizing impact. The event in Alimos not only celebrated past successes but also laid the groundwork for ongoing efforts to promote sustainable practices, environmental education, and innovative solutions for plastic pollution.
The ZeroPlastic4All project underscores the importance of strategic partnerships, innovative tools, and committed stakeholders in creating a cleaner, greener Europe.
