First transnational meeting of ZP4All

🌿 The inaugural transnational meeting of ZP4All is taking shape, and we were absolutely delighted to welcome Mrs. Vaso Tsorva, the General Manager of the Green and Environmental Department at the Municipality of Alimos. Her presence underscored the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing environmental challenges.

✅ During this meeting, we engaged in fruitful exchanges of valuable insights and best practices from our partners in Italy (Formedil-Bari) and Portugal (Brigada do Mar). A particularly exciting discussion centered on innovative concepts like Blue Schools from Portugal, which captivated the Municipality of Alimos team and sparked enthusiasm for new educational approaches.

🌊 The Blue School initiative is a groundbreaking program designed to actively involve the school community in comprehending the complex relationship between the sea and its ecosystems. This initiative emphasizes the integration of the local community in its activities, fostering partnerships with other Blue Schools and creating a robust network that promotes environmental stewardship.

🎉 The ZP4All project emerges as a timely and crucial initiative that tackles the urgent issue of plastic pollution. By focusing on education and awareness-raising, it engages vocational education and training (VET) students and institutions across Europe to foster a generation that is informed and proactive about environmental sustainability.

👏 Recognized as one of the most progressive municipalities in Greece, the Municipality of Alimos is unwavering in its commitment to green innovation. By staying ahead of contemporary environmental trends, it actively confronts critical issues such as plastic pollution. This steadfast focus positions the Municipality of Alimos as a key ally in the effective dissemination and practical implementation of the ZP4All project, ensuring a meaningful impact on the community and beyond.
